Ivar Refsnes, newly named executive chairman of Refnes Salmon, has acquired an additional 74.5 percent of the company, giving him ownership of 99.5 percent of the company, according to financial filings.
Ivar Refsnes resigned as CEO to take up the chairman role.
"Changes happening after I bought out the rest of the owners," Ivar Refsnes told IntraFish.
The board of Refnes Salmon consists of Ivar Refsnes, Roger Bekken, Stein Dagfinn Refsnes and Ole Arve Viken. Jon Refsnes has left the board.
The chairman said that 2016 was a good year, despite challenges with sea lice.
