The value of exports of Norwegian salmon in September came to a total of NOK 3.5 billion (€428.3 million/$536.2 million), up 7 percent from the same period last year, according to the latest statistics from Norwegian Seafood Council.
From the beginning of the year, total exports of salmon were NOK 31.9 billion (€3.9 billion/$4.9 billion), an increase of 17 percent compared to last year’s.
Total exports of salmon to the EU have totaled NOK 21.7 billion (€2.7 billion/$3.3 billion), an increase of 19 percent on last year’s total.
