Heroy Fiskeindustri, formerly named Sunsea, started operations after the Sunmore Seafood bankruptcy in 2012, and invested heavily in a smokehouse last year.
Costs for both raw materials and investments pressured the company’s operation and liquidity in the first half of 2014, according to the board of directors’ annual financial report.
“The company has with the aid of solid, long-standing suppliers achieved its terms of payment that provide the company with satisfactory room to maneuver in the future,” the board wrote.
