Tuesday it was shoulder room only at the office of Norway’strade and industry minister Trond Giske. He had invited various parties to a"summer summary," and there was no lack of interest from the industry to hearwhat he had to say.
Giske stressed the state as a shareholder in the country’sindustries has an important role to play, but not to the extent that the stateowns purely just to own.
One of the companies’ fates Giske will be deciding onis Cermaq.
“We have throughout maintained that our holding in Cermaq has notbeen strategically founded," Giske told IntraFish.
