Exports of farmed halibut in June totaled 42 metric tons valued at NOK 3.3 million (€360,000/$500,000). The average price was NOK 79.74 (€8.76/$12.18) a kilo.
In certain markets, prices were more than NOK 100 (€10.98/$15.28), as with Sweden and the Czech Republic, according to the Norwegian Seafood Export Council (NSEC).
So far this year, 446 metric tons of farmed halibut were exported from Norway, at a value of NOK 33.9 million (€3.73/$5.18). The average kilo price for the first half of the year was NOK 76.21
