Last week, representatives from the five companies met to discuss a joint project. Under the plan, the farming of the fish, which is used to control sea lice in salmon cages, would take place at what was formerly Nordland Marin Yngel’s cod juvenile raising facility at Lovund.
“In short here is a state-of-the-art cod juvenile raising facility standing unused. There is also expertise here that can be used,” Nova Sea Managing Director Odd Strom told IntraFish.
