Norwegian slaughter plant and export company Nils Williksen improved revenue by more than 30 percent last year, notching up NOK 1.3 billion (€141.5 million/$159.5 million) in sales.

In 2013 revenue totaled just below the NOK 1 billion (€108.8 million/$122.7 million) mark for the company, which is owned by Midt Norsk Havbruk (42.2 percent), Salmonor (33.8 percent) and Bjoroya (24 percent).

The three aquaculture companies are also Nils Williksen’s suppliers of raw materials. Most of the salmon are sold in Norway, Northern Europe and the remainder to Europe.
