Nordland County-based Bra-Vak, which supplies various services to the aquaculture industry and manufacturing packing for the fisheries industry, achieved sales of NOK 41.7 million (€5 million/$6.3 million) last year, down from NOK 66 million (€7.9 million/$10 million) in 2012.
But operating profit improved nonetheless to NOK 15.4 million (€1.9 million/$2.3 million) from NOK 13.8 million (€1.7 million/$2.1 million) year-on-year.
“Factory production is in full swing, and we’ve had great feedback from our customers. The board is thrilled with the way the result has developed,” Torbjorn Grimstad, chairman and owner of Bra-Vask, said in the company's annual report.
