Figures from the Norwegian Seafood Export Council (NSEC) show 1,027 metric tons of farmed cod were exported in October, at a value of NOK 38.1 million ($5.58 million/€4.38 million).
The total export figure for farmed cod so far this year is 4,315 metric tons, worth NOK 157.4 million ($23.06 million/€18.14 million).
This amounts to an increase of NOK 39 million ($5.71 million/€4.49 million) in relation to the same period last year, when exports totalled 2,847 metric tons at a value of NOK 118.4
