In March, exports of farmed cod from Norway totaled 644 metric tons, at a value of NOK 16.9 million (€1.91 million/$2.56 million).
So far this year 2,124 metric tons of farmed cod has been exported, divided into 1,988 metric tons of whole cod and 136 metric tons of fillet. Export value totals NOK 61.6 million (€6.99 million/$9.34 million).
At the same time last year exports amounted to 1,065 metric tons, where 1,012 metric tons were whole cod and 53 metric tons were fillet.
