According to figures from the Norwegian Seafood Federation (SN) Akvafakta, fish feed sales to Norwegian producers showed a 15 percent increase up to and including week 3 this year compared with the same time last year.
In the course of the first three weeks of this year there has been 78,244 metric tons of Norwegian-produced feed sold, a 15 percent increase on the same period last year, when sales totaled 68,115 metric tons.
Sales have increased for both salmon (+15%) and trout (+18%).
