Norway exported cod, saithe, haddock and other whitefish products worth NOK 835 million (€90.1 million/$101.2 million) in August, up NOK 15 million (€1.6 million/$1.8 million) or 2 percent compared with August 2014, according to the latest figures from the Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC).
However, there has also been a decrease of 22 percent in export volumes, particularly of frozen whole cod fish.
Exports of fresh cod fish products reached NOK 145 million (€15.6 million/$17.6 million) in August, up 6 percent compared with August 2014.
