Softeland has 20 years’ experience in the aquaculture industry. Until recently he headed one of the few breeding technology firms in Norway, SalmoBreed, of which he was a co-founder. Prior to that, he was regional director for the Norwegian Seafood Federation (FHL).
Softeland said he has optedto work in the feed business because it suits his skills.
