CEO Tomonobu Miki will assume the duties of president.
"Bob oversaw a major restructuring of the company and an important change in our business philosophy during his tenure with North Pacific Seafoods," said Miki. "In addition, he successfully saw the divestiture of one facility while simultaneously increasing the overall production of the company. Bob leaves the company well positioned for its next steps in growth."
Nickinovich joined NPS as sales manager for canned products in 1975. He worked for both Bumble Bee Seafoods and Wards Cove before rejoining NPS in 2003 as president.
