Nordsee CEO Heiner Kamps said Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Slovenia, and the Czech Republic are key areas of expansion. Nordsee has a small presence in Slovenia and the Czech Republic.
Kamps said the company will focus on quality, and will add additional organic and "natural" items.
Kamps is predicting a 40 percent increase in profit in 2006, and double the current earnings before income, taxes, depreciation, amortization (EBITDA) of €16 million ($19 million) within four years.
Kamps recently told IntraFish in addition to Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Far East may present expansion opportunities.
