Last year Niche Seafood achieved sales of NOK 47.2 million, identical with the previous year, while operating profit totaled -NOK 2 million as opposed to -NOK 1.3 million in 2011. Pre-tax profit and net profit came to -NOK 2.1 million in 2012 compared with -NOK 1.3 million the previous year.
“2012 was colored by internal unrest that led to a split on the shareholder side and letting go of employees. The ownership situation is now sorted, and the company has regained peace and quiet enabling it to focus on the operation,” the board wrote in the annual report.
