Kona Blue President and cofounder Neil Sims authored a research paper, "The Ecological Efficiencies of Farmed Fish," which estimates, on a global basis, sustainably farmed fish may represent around 60 times more efficient use of anchovy and other baitfish resources than wild fish.
The paper appears on the company's Web site, and is in the process of being submitted to scientific journals, Kona Blue said.
