The Web site -- to be operational sometime Monday -- takes on environmental NGOs the seafood industry trade group says routinely distort the facts about the safety and health benefits of seafood to serve their own fund-raising and propaganda goals.
The site takes statements made by five NGOs -- Greenpeace, Oceana, Mercury Policy Project, Environmental Working Group, and Natural Resources Defense Council -- and then exposes them for either providing distorted facts, half-truths and untruths or for only providing part of the story.
