Before U.S. catfish growers could hold their press conference in Washington, D.C., NFI released a statement slamming the industry-funded report, calling it short on facts.
The report comes as legislation that would make it harder for Vietnamese pangasius producers to ship product to the United States has passed the U.S. Congress but is waiting to be defined in rule form and implemented.
