Murry Park has a lot on his plate and he’s hoping consumers will too.
The newly named president of Maruha Nichiro subsidiary Trans-Ocean Products told IntraFish his focus for the next year will be the growth of the US surimi seafood supplier by helping lead the company’s diversification, development of new products, and building an even better place for his employees.
“We want to revisit the product potential, to get a better value out of the protein,” Park said.
Whether that means a return to company’s roots of frozen seafood production, or inventing new ways to increase efficiency in its fresh product line and delivery, remains unclear at this point as all options are being looked at, he said.
