As seafood buyers worldwide struggle to meet growing demand, several groups united to launch a new portal to address this issue.
Solidaridad-an international civil society organization-and Wageningen UR (University & Research centre) launched the Seafood Trade Intelligence Portal (STIP) at the Global Seafood Expo in Brussels on Tuesday.
The portal connects those in the seafood supply chains, suppliers and buyers, and helps them trade and invest in the sustainable seafood supply. Its supplier and a buyer search engine focuses on seafood suppliers from Asia and South America and buyers around the world.
