Seattle-based Star Of The Seas is selling breaded shrimp and scallop poppers, scallops en croute, king crab stuffers and crab gratin in shell. The company opened six months ago and is getting a good response at the show, said Akio Miura, director of the firm.

“We’re targeting seafood appetizer menus at hotels and restaurants,” Miura told IntraFish. “We have high expectations.”

There are more than 2,200 exhibitors – including about 80 seafood companies – at this year’s Restaurant Hotel-Motel Show at McCormick Place in Chicago.
