Established in January by World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and major players in the tuna industry, the group will encourage a greater accessibility of industry catch data for scientists assessing management strategies.
“We looking for a commitment by the industry to share catch data with scientists,” ISSF President Susan Jackson told IntraFish at last week's European Seafood Exposition in Brussels.
