The province exported $695.5 million ($688.2 million/€500.2 million) worth of fish and seafood during the year, trailing only first-place British Columbia, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador.
In all, New Brunswick's seafood producers exported 93,115 tons of product, including 13,496 tons of lobster, valued at $294.6 million ($291.4 million/€211.9 million); 22,945 tons of farmed Atlantic salmon, valued at $169.3 million ($167.5 million/€121.7million) and 8,942 tons of snow/queen crab, worth $75.1 million ($74.3 million/€54 million).
