In 1993, Barnard was a microbiologist looking to clean up lakes and rivers. He invented an all-natural product called BZT Aquaculture, a dry powder that naturally cleans algae, improves water clarity and eliminates odors in water.
“It’s all-natural, and that’s really a key phrase right now,” Barnard, now the president and CEO of Oklahoma-based United-Tech Inc., told IntraFish.
