The organizers of the North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF) conference are currently prepping for the 10th edition of the event, taking place in Bergen, Norway, from March 3 to 5.
Sustainability will be high on the agenda, and NASF and the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) are jointly hosting a Sustainability & Communications seminar on March 4, which organizer Jorgen Lund described as a "major feature of this year's arena," in an email to IntraFish.
"I am delighted to inform you that one of the leading European players in the sustainability field is now chairing this event," he said, namely Horst Lang, director for QA-sustainability, workers welfare at Globus retail chain in Germany.
