Nasdaq salmon prices drop across the board in week 36

Average Norwegian salmon prices fell 26 percent in the 12 weeks leading up to week 36 according to the most recent data from the Nasdaq Salmon Index.

The price fell NOK 19.35 ($2.35/€2.09) per kilo compared with three months earlier, figures showed.

The 1-week average price fell 3 percent or by NOK 1.67 ($0.20/€0.18) per kilo.

Compared with four weeks ago prices were down NOK 4.55 ($0.54/€0.48) per kilo or 8 percent, the index showed.
