Namibia's hake industry is looking ahead to better times, with a weak domestic currency, higher prices and stronger demand in Europe driving a positive trend for suppliers.
"We see very strong prices at the moment," one industry source told IntraFish, saying prices have increased by 7 to 10 percent over the last 12 months.
Prices in Spain have seen a recovery, German and French prices also moved up "a little bit," while Italian buyers are spending about the same year-on-year, he said.
