Multiexport Foods, Inc. on Friday issued a voluntary recall of some of its cold smoked salmon products due to potential listeria contamination.
Three lot batches of Multiexport’s 12-oz. cold smoked twin packs (two 6 oz. vacuum packages in a cardboard sleeve), sold under the Paramount Reserve brand, were recalled.
The company said the products could be in retail outlets across several US states: Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
