Eco-label logos must be more "one dimensional" and utilize consumers’ "strong emotive response" to sustainability concerns, said MSC U.K. Commercial Manager Toby Middleton, speaking at the Value Added Seafood conference in London earlier this month.
“People have very strong health values and beliefs about seafood and the oceans -- if we can tap into this then we can make it easy for people to act around those values and beliefs," he said.
