The Moscow Arbitration Court has scheduled a preliminary hearing for April 15 of an appeal by the Far Eastern Association of Pollock Producers (ADM) against a ruling by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS), which accused it of a cartel agreement on price fixing, a court spokesman told The Moscow News.

In December, FAS Russia found ADM members guilty of collusion based on “cartel meeting minutes” gathered from May through August, allegedly showing agreements on production of pollock fillets, roe, meal and other products.

Annually, Russia catches more than one million metric tons of pollock, an amount equal to the combined catch of salmon, herring and cod.
