UK retailer Morrisons is recalling certainprivate-label smoked mackerel products after “processing error” means some maybe undercooked.
The retailer is pulling from its shelves “allbatches of certain smoked mackerel products” including smoked fillets, the UKFood Standards Agency announced on Jan. 17.
“Due to a processing error, some [of the products]may be undercooked,” the agency said. “If you have bought any of the productsdon’t eat them.”
The affected products are:
- Morrisons Smoked Mackerel fillets (tray pack)
- Morrisons Smoked Mackerel fillets with lemon andparsley (tray pack)
- Morrisons Smoked Peppered Mackerel fillets (traypack)
- Morrisons Mexicana Smoked Mackerel fillets (traypack)
- Morrisons Smoked Scottish Mackerel (vacuum pack)
