Morpol will invest around €20 million this year to start production in three new factories in the UK, France and Germany, its chief operating officer John-Paul McGinley told IntraFish.
The plants in Cuisery, France, and Harsum, Germany, will probably open around mid-2012, while the target for Rosyth in the UK is to open at the end of the year.
The extra capacity will help Morpol achieve its target of a 30 percent market share in France and the UK, while catering for smaller and more foodservice customers in Germany, McGinley said.
