Ustka, Poland-based Morpol, one of the largest salmon processors in the world, paid £3.75 million (€4.3 million/$6.1 million) for land and a building in Rosyth, near the Scottish capital, Edinburgh.
“The facility is purchased with the intention to establish a large-scale value added processing plant which will be used to further increase the market strength of Morpol in the United Kingdom and other markets,” said the company’s annual report.
