The Russian veterinary service is implementing provisional restrictions against a Norwegian company’s facility, and stepped up inspections of products for another company’s plant.

On its website, the Russian veterinary service, Rosselkhoznadzor, said it has implemented provisional restrictions on Norway Pelagic AS, the Lodingen division, from June 9.

More laboratory examinations will be made on samples of products from Cermaq’s slaughter plant in Rypefjord from May 21.
