Norwegian salmon producer Salma's latest financial report reveals company's revenue growth to NOK 281.9 million (€30.8 million/$34.4 million) last year from NOK 259.5 million (€28.4 million/$31.6 million) the previous year.
Operating profit, on the other hand, fell to NOK 5.6 million (€612,483/$682,539) in 2014, down from NOK 8 million (€874,976/$975,056) in 2013.
“The company is still in a growth phase and had positive development in sales throughout 2014. This positive trend is expected to continue due to growth in sales so far in 2015,” the board of directors wrote in the annual report.
