New York resident Ricarlos Guzman voluntarily dismissed last week a nationwide consumer class action lawsuit against Trident Seafoods and Costco Wholesale alleging the fish oil product he bought does not have the same amount of omega-3s as stated on the label.
He filed the action lawsuit at the end of February.
Guzman alleged the "product label is false, deceptive and misleading," which violates several US laws.
He bought Kirkland Signature Wild Alaskan Fish Oil, which allegedly did not meet omega-3 levels in lab tests.
