Spanish wholesaler Dimarosa, which supplies peeled shrimp to Mercadona, is investing €4.5 million ($5.1 million) in its facilities to increase production for the retailer, reports Levante.

The company -- owned by the Rodriguez Dominguez family -- is a shellfish supplier that has an exclusivity contract with Mercadona for its peeled shrimp production, which accounts for 50 percent of Dimarosa's total sales.
