Maruha Nichiro-owned Seafood Connection hired Chau Minh Dat as its new commercial director for its Ho Chi Minh City office in Vietnam on the back of an increase in trade activities in Vietnam and other southeast Asian countries.
Chau Minh Dat is the former vice general director of Hoang Long Seafood.
Seacon Vietnam has a key position in the region and is coordinating the export of several seafood products from Europe to the Asian market, it said.
