The company is planning to build one plant in the county of Sogn and Fjordane, now they are out after building an equally large installation in Hordaland County.
On Tuesday, IntraFish reported Marine Harvest had applied to build a new smolt production installation in Stongfjorden with an annual production capacity of 7.5 million sea-ready smolt.
Marine Harvest has also applied to build a new smolt production installation at Fjæra, which is also planned with an annual production capacity of 7.5 million smolt.
