Skretting’s share of Marine Harvest’s feed purchases in Norway will drop from 65 percent to 15 percent when the Norwegian salmon giant starts up its own feed production next year. Biomar's feed sales to the company will fall four percent.
For the two-year period between May this year and April 2015 Marine Harvest entered into feed contracts with Skretting and Biomar.
In 2014, Marine Harvest will be ready to start its own feed production at its unit in Bjugn, currently under construction.
