Ole-Eirik Leroy, chairman of Marine Harvest, was nervous before the annual general meeting of Cermaq, but very pleased when the vote gave the result he wanted.
"This gives us great opportunities to go ahead with the project that we've presented -- a new seafood company the world has not seen," said Leroy.
"It is quite clear that this was a situation where everything was open until the voting was over," he said.
He is now with Marine Harvest's board to consider what to do next.
