Marine Harvest CEO Alf-Helge Aarskog is hoping next summer will be rainy and cold after warmer temperatures this year caused biological challenges for the salmon company.

“Biology is the challenge we face in Norway today, in most of the regions. Among other things sea temperatures have been higher, which has led to higher costs. Sea lice in particular," Aarskog said during his presentation of the third quarter results Wednesday.

"There have been more frequent treatments against lice, and this is a worry," he added.
