Marine Harvest sold 3,326,940 shares in Cermaq at an average price of NOK 105.33 (€13.30/$17.60) per share Friday, following the announcement it would not complete its offer for Cermaq earlier in the day.
As a consequence Marine Harvest's shareholding of Cermaq was reduced below the 5 percent disclosure threshold.
Following the sale Marine Harvest holds 1,706,604 shares in Cermaq, representing 1.84 percent of the outstanding shares.
At close of trading on the Oslo Stock Exchange on Friday afternoon, Cermaq’s share price had dropped 8.89
