Introduced over the past couple of months, the new burgers are at a higher quality than previous iterations, while the latest product, salmon mince, is believed to be the first such one released in the European market.
“People reckonize the product from the meat [version],” Marine Harvest VAP Managing Director Jo Dekeyzer told IntraFish. “They can use all the recipes they had [before] with salmon mince. It’s a healthy alternative for something people know very well.”
The private-label product has launched into “key retailers” across Belgium, France and Holland.
