Marine Farms focuses on business as rumors swirl

Greek aquaculture firm Nireus purchased an additional stake in the firm earlier this week, sparking speculation of a full takeover.

“The only thing I can do here is run the business as well as I can, and let others fight over the shares,” Myrseth told IntraFish.

Myrseth declined to comment what many claim is a takeover contest over aquaculture company Marine Farms. Rumors have been swirling major shareholders Nireus and Cermaq are in the process of splitting the company in two.
