Icelandic processing equipment supplier Marel is shutting down its production of freezers in Singapore while at the same time merging part of its operations in the United States.
The steps are in line with Marel's ongoing "Simpler, Smarter, Faster" refocusing program, which aims to give the company a more streamlined and cost effective future manufacturing footprint.
