The Crab Coalition, comprised of the top 12 crab importers in the United States and managed by the National Fisheries Institute (NFI), earlier this month budgeted $400,000 (€323,000) to support the two industry-producer associations, the Indonesian Association of Crab Producers (APRI), and the Philippine Association of Crab Producers Inc. (PACPI).

“The work is being done on the ground by industry-producer associations – we have one in Indonesia, one in the Philippines – they have been operating for most of two years now.
