Norwegian salmon producer Wenberg Fiskeoppdrett achieved a hefty boost to sales and in its bottom line last year, delivering a profit margin of 30.6 percent.

Sales for the financial year of 2014 jumped from NOK 85.2 million (€9.7 million/$10.7 million) to NOK 93.3 million (€10.6 million/$11.7 million) year-on-year.

Operating profit increased 25 percent to NOK 28.6 million (€3.2 million/$3.6 million) from NOK 22.8 million (€2.6 million/$2.9 million) in the previous year, resulting in operating margins of 30.6 percent.

The Nordland-based company operates farm sites in the Skjerstadfjord, and works in close cooperation with Edelfarm, which is owned by Edelfisk.
