Scottish oyster farmer Loch Fyne isn't shy about its plans: it has its sights set on growth. The group acquired Hebridean Mussels and Hebridean Seafoods operations based in the Isle of Lewis in late December, as part of a strategy to increase its shellfish production.
They followed this by purchasing Seasalter Walney, which trades under the name Morecombe Bay Oyster Company, at the beginning of the year.
Aquaculture Director David Attwood says the company is very happy with the acquisitions and the investments.
